This is a handmade beaded crystalline ice spider. The abdominal area is made from a clear pearlescent crackled plastic bead . The head is a smaller faceted clear bead. The legs are made from flexible but sturdy 21 ga. brass wire which are covered with small Swarovski Glass and glass gold beads and can be carefully adjusted to almost any position. Gold bead caps are also incorporated into the body. A gold decorative hook is attached to the back of the abdomen and can be used to hang the spider or be removed.
The spider can be used as a Steampunk accessory on a hat or vest, hung at a window or rear view mirror, Christmas Ornament, and possibly even worn as jewelry.
Weighs approximately 3 ounces and is 3.25″ long.
A dew dropped shaped bead is suspended from one of the front legs to simulate a dew drop falling from the spider.
