This is a handmade golden beaded spider. The abdomen is made from a rose gold gem encrusted bead (gives you the impression of a wolf spider with babies clinging to her back) and the head is a faceted amber plastic bead. The legs are made from flexible but sturdy 21 ga. brass wire which are covered with small golden glass and Swarovski Crystal glass beads. They can be carefully adjusted to almost any position. Gold bead caps are also incorporated into the body. A decorative gold hook is attached to the back of the abdomen and can be used to hang the spider or be removed.
The spider can be used as a Steampunk accessory on a hat or vest, hung at a window or rear view mirror, Christmas ornament and possibly even worn as jewelry.
Weighs approximately 3 ounces and is 3.75″ long.
A small tear drop shaped faceted crystal bead has been attached to one of the front legs to simulate a falling dew drop.
