This is a handmade beaded spider. The abdominal area is made from an opalescent gem encrusted bead with a smaller faceted clear glass bead for the head. The legs are made from flexible but sturdy 21 ga. brass wire which are covered with small gold glass and Swarovski Glass beads and can be carefully adjusted to almost any position. Silver bead caps are also incorporated into the body. A gold decorative hook is attached to the back of the abdomen and can be used to hang the spider or be removed.
A small crystal teardrop shaped bead is suspended from one of the front legs to look as though a drop of dew is falling from the spider’s leg.
The spider can be used as a Steampunk accessory on a hat or vest, hung at a window or rear view mirror, Christmas Ornament and possibly even worn as jewelry.
Weighs approximately 3 ounces and is over 3.75″ long. The dew drop bead adds approximately 1/2″
