This is a handmade beaded spider. The abdominal area is made from a large blue veined ceramic bead and the head is a smaller plastic blue faceted bead. The legs are made from flexible but sturdy 21 ga. brass wire which are covered with small Swarovski glass beads and plastic beads. Silver bead caps are also incorporated into the body. A 1.75″ golden hook is attached to the back of the abdomen and can be used to hang the spider or be removed.
The spider can be used as a Steampunk accessory on a hat or vest, hung at a window or rearview mirror, Christmas Ornament, and possibly even worn as jewelry.
Weighs approximately 3 ounces and is 2″ long.
